False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs start off at NCV level 2 plus the minimal prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, becoming equivalent to a Nationwide here Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two that is equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that classic education is not necessarily the only method of starting to be an artisan or starting to be skilled so if a student click here knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is actually properly fitted to that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
